Who we are​

We are a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting families with children ages 0–6 through inclusive programs, resources, and meaningful connections.

The Family Resource Center is a welcoming, community-based organization serving families with young children across Newfoundland and Labrador. With centers in St. John’s, Clarenville, Burin, and Gander, we offer a wide range of free programs and services designed to support early childhood development and strengthen family bonds. From parent support groups to interactive play, we’re here to help children grow and families thrive—together.

At the Family Resource Center, our mission is to support families with young children by providing safe, inclusive spaces that nurture early learning, connection, and well-being. We are committed to empowering parents and caregivers through programs, resources, and community partnerships that help every child—ages 0 to 6—grow, thrive, and feel supported from the very beginning.
